Porting LS6 Manifold worth it?

Porting LS6 Manifold worth it? Just wondering who here has done this and seen a gain in hp. I heard on some of the 450+rwhp H/C cars they had this done along with other little mods, which I didnt think was possible cause I know the manifold is made of some kind of plastic <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
So I figuered what the hell since I am going to swap the heads might as well do it then. If anyone has done this can you give me any tips on this. Worth it or waste of time <img border="0" alt="[bang head]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_banghead.gif" />

Re: Porting LS6 Manifold worth it? My opinion, waste of time. If you really are hell bent on porting an intake, get the Holley. You'll have better success.
But, if you must port a stocker, practice on an LS1 intake first! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
