LT questions I currently have a 98 ls1 with flowmaster muffler and slp lid. I am trying to decide on what to do next, and its a toss up between headers and new catback, heard nothing but bad with flowmaster muffler. I am leaning towards hooker tuned lt soley bc price, but what is the clearence with these, i am planning on lowering my car 1-1.5". What about the black paint, is that good enough, evrry penny saved is good, i live in SOuthern cali so weather isn't bad, would wrap be suffice for heat. Please help, also what does anyone know about PPC headers, 700 bucks for LT that have good clearence and coating, not that bad. What should I do????!!!!????
Re: LT questions Header wrap like messes the headers up because when they get wet, it holds that moisture on the headers. If you go with the black paint just leave em. Both headers have good ground clearence <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
