There was also a thread on porting your own throttle body. If you do a search you can probably find it, it was pretty recently.

thunderracing sells them for $150. the best part is they offer a core charge. you never need to send in your TB. you pay i think ~$400 up front, they ship you one, you put it on, send your old one back and they refund you $250. you never go a day without a TB for your car. it's all CNC machined. it's the route i will likely go when the time comes.

I sent my throttle body to New Era the June 19th and I'm still waiting for my throttle body back. I dont think they do the same day turn around like they say. I emailed them yesterday and they said ship today. Im waiting for my throttle body so I can put my LS6 on and July 4th Im gonna do my headers. So if it isnt here by then Im gonna be really pissed off. Its a good thing I got another ride.

Yeah I think im gonna go to new era performance, let me if you dont get it back for a while SRwred240. Do they offer anykind of core charge so i can drive my car while my tb is being ported?????

Also I wonder if they do as good as a job as thunder racing cause theirs a huge price difference.
