Default Maximum allowable warpage on LS6 intake

Does anyone know if there is a spec or limit that the factory intake can be warped before it will no longer seal?

When I had mine removed, I put a machinist rule across both sides and it showed it had a slight bow out in the center. My passenger side is running 4% lean, plus there is a slight miss under no load/light load throttle conditions.

TIA.

The 10 bolts should take care of any warp problems, as they will un-warp it as you tighten. You could also try some new gaskets. BYUNSpeed sells a comp cams port gasket kit mainly for FAST's (since they don't come with them), but they will work in LS6's too.

carquest gaskets 29.99, work good, and might be cheaper then the comps, but if not get them from the sponcer.

Are any of the aftermarket gaskets thicker than stock or about the same?
