Just use a regular drill bit, plenty of lube, then use the ease-out.

If you ruin the threads in the head you can helicoil it. Just take your time and be careful and I will come out. The EZ out it your best bet.

BTW - You do need a special socket for the sending unit, which you can get an an autoparts store. A search will yield more information on it.

Everyting went good. Used a tiny drill bit and a easy out. Well my dad did, he did damn good considering he probably hasnt done it in 20 years and thats a tiny *** hole to be drilling in, and the bolt broke off at a point. Well the intakes back on waiting for a new bolt to come in, be here wenesday maybe. damn guy has a LS1 at the junk yard wont even give me 1 damn bolt. Bout to do the headers today and tomorrow gonna spray the hell out of the bolts with pb blaster. pray for me that it goes smoothly.
