How to improve Throtle response ?
How can I improve this ???
I was playing with it and it does seem loose to me.....
Can I see some pics ??

there is a plastic clip you undo and you just slide the cable to tighten up the slack, be sure not to make it to tight and have the blade of the throttle body open this would make your car idle faster then desired

Some of the lag you feel is the car downshifting sometimes when you punch it. Other times, it is just at a bad spot in the gearing (a "dead spot"). I think the best thing that you could do to correct this is a stall. They take away all dead spots. Whenever you put it to the floor, the throttle response is there and your RPMs jump to the desired stall speed.

Correct me if I'm wrong. Make sure you have a little tension on the throttle cable, but not enough to open the blade at idle.

When you say throttle response are you really meaning how the engine responds to throttle variations, or are you just generally mean that the car takes a moomnent to react and downshift via kick down?
Single large TB's are reknown for not being very responsive to small throttle inputs and variations. So the LS1 is not going to provide the crispist throttle reposnse, but it should be quite good.
To check it's not the cable or an issue with the TB put your shifter into 2nd when not moving. As your car is a 2002 model this will lock the tranny in 2nd gear and not use 1st.
Drive a long and bring the revs upto around 3000rpm. Now just stab the thrttle lightly or hard and see how it responds. If there's an issue it be evident. Else it should pickup almost immediatley. It should NOT kick down to 1st. Also remember as it's locked in 2nd it won't shift into 3rd so don't stay on the throttle for too long.
How ever I guess you are probably meaning it feels sluggish due to kick down. And often low rpms due to gearing. A stall (torque converter) will help. I'd reccomend you speak to Fuddle or Yank. I'd guess a 3500rpm would be a sensible starting place.
Chaning the final drive gears would help also, 3.42 or if 1/4 mile is more your thing then 3.73's.
Other things to consider:
Leaving the tranny in OD/4th isn't good if you plan WOT kick downs, espcially down to 1st. It is damaging to the tranny and it will take longer to react than going from D/3rd to 1st. So if you are driving spiritly leave the tranny in D/3rd.
Traction Control, this may be kicking in slightly at lower speeds, often it will bring the Low Trac light up on the dash but not always. May be try switching it off.
Also you have a few mods so torque management may be an issue, this is where the PCM limitd the engine output when the tranny shifts, so it will feel sluggish. This will only happen on WOT shifts/kickdown and is pretty noticable. This can be tuned out.
EFI Live and HP Tuners also allow a lot of control over the gearbox and the part throttle kick down points, it may be that recalibrating it to suit your driving style may be in order.
As for the engine it's self, well improvements to the induction/exhaust are always good as is a good set of cylinder heads with a cam matched for your requirements.
