Default Can I run a pulley?

I'm running out of bolt ons before I have to go into smog illegal zone.

Pretty much the only big one left is an underdrive pulley, but a few things have me concerned. Firtst off, i have a turn1 p/s pump already, so it has lower output then stock. Second, I have a decent stereo system, two amps pushing about 800 of power, but before I'm done Ill be adding more speakers so it'll probably be north of 1000 when Im finished.

Would an underdrive pulley slow down my accesories too much for what I have?

That's what I figured, and I just replaced it too with an OEM level one because I couldn't get my hands on a higher output one in a reasonable amount of time.

Yeah, in most cases you can benefit from doing a UD pulley, but in your case that is probably not a good option if you plan on being a club on wheels with that sound system.

Well, my drop down spinning disco ball hasn't been installed yet, I'm sure that would be the biggest drain on power.

ya when i got my stereo installed 2 jl's with 500 to each they told me specifically to not get an underdrive pulley! becuz if you did then it will kill your alternator for sure! and then you will have big problems and cost you more money than just an underdrive pulley! not worth the gain with a big stereo!
