Default Always adding coolant?

Seems like this season I am always adding coolant/water? Not leaking, its just burning through it. Think my radiator is shot?

might have an obstruction...causing the radiator to run hotter and burn more fluid

Your radiator should never "burn through" anything. You're either leaking it somewhere you can't find or you've got a headgasket problem and it's going through the motor and out the tail pipe without you seeing it.

Change your radiator cap. I had the same problem and that fixed it. Like 5 bucks from the auto parts store.

I have the same problem with my 2000 chevy tahoe. I keep having to add a minimal amount of coolant. I had an oil analysis done by blackstone labs and they told me i was leaking coolant into the oil. It was a minimal amount but enough that could cause premature bearing failure. I hope it is something simple like the cap but if not try and send an oil analysis to blackstone so you can have the piece of mind it is only 20 bucks. I decided to puchase a package of GM block sealant pellets because it is such a minimal leak. I have had good luck with this product in the past so i figured i would give it a shot.
