Pcv Problem I was losing a lot of oil through the pcv system so I decided to take it off. Once I plugged all the ports on the valve covers I left the cap off so it could breath and there is a ton of smoke coming from the oil fill. Is a breather going to take care of the smoke?? I'm thinking it probably won't. The breather is in the mail regardless but I'm wondering if I don't have another bigger problem.

well with the breather on its going to catch all the oil together and depending on the shape and tallness of the breather it might just drip or not have enough pressure to make it out. Then only the gases/fumes should be coming through the breather. Some people have more than other, and some can smell it through the AC while others do not.
I think mine smokes a little through the breather. It doesn't smoke very bad though...its not pouring out from underneath the hood or anything, thats for sure. I can only smell mine when the hood is open, haven't noticed anything through the vents.
