Hooker Catback okay i no im beating this to death but now i think i want to go a different way possible. we think my buddies magnaflow sounds quite with LT's and ORY. what im worried is i think the hooker catback wen it comes that i ordered is gonna sound way to quite for me especially if they say magnaflow is louder then hooker. so my buddy is gonna do a cut out and i am thinking about doing a cut out. my question is were do u think the best location would be to put it to get it the loudest but still sound good???

Does your car have any mods done to it? If you plan on heads and or cam, don't have cats, or are running longtubes, the hooker will be pretty loud. You could get the hooker and add the cutout at any time later after you hear it if its not loud enough for you. The shop that does all my work swears up and down by hooker catbacks. Its the only catback that loses the least amount of RWHP compared to all the others out there. From the hooker catback to a open 3" cutout they gained 2 RWHP over the hooker and lost RWTQ.
If you wanna go with the cutout for sure though just for the sound of it, I'd put it in the opening between the rearseat hump and the rearend.

well i have my headers and ORY sitting in my basement waiting for my hooker catback to come. im just worried cuz i think its going to be real quite especially since people say its one of the quitest exhausts out there. i dunno if LT's is gonna waken it up enough without a cam so i thought maybe a cut out would help it alittle.
after driving mine for about 5k miles, it is just right (stock manifolds, stock cats). This is coming from someone who used to run the dynomouth. I will be very happy with a little bit louder after lt's. Get the hooker. endgame.

you will probably need to get a tune after the lts,ory and catback done to feel the extra power.i have the hooker and it is a great catback.if you are wanting a loud exhaust you will probably need to get a cutout because the hooker is pretty quiet but i like the sound.
