ground wire on heads... Im curious on how many ground wires are on the back of the drivers side head and what grounds these are for?

I think it depends on the year. I have a 2000 and there is two on the back of the driver side head. I dunno what they ground though, they go into the loom and are lost as far as im concirned, lol.
