Hmmm...Let's see...I have that exact set-up (GMMG, Kooks LT's, catted Y) and there is no rasp whatsoever at any rpm range...Anyone who's heard my car in person can verify that (again, it's the ORY that will create the rasp on an LS1). And of all the years I've been on this board, I've never heard of anyone complain about any rasp with a GMMG/LT header set-up running cats?? Maybe your hearing does need to be checked? j/k man

But check out my video link below and tell me if my GMMG set-up is raspy in any way:

Maby I'm confusing rasp with a general splattyness? Whatever it is, I've never been too fond of the sound, especially when compared to the pricetag. All this stuff is opinionated without a possible yes/no, so to each his own.

BTW - I watched your video last night and it sounds awesome from inside the car, there's no doubt there. Behind the car they take on a different tone, especially when casually driving. This is what I've found in my experience.

I've heard his car and the above is completely accurate. Very refined sound. The "bad" sounding LT/Cats/GMMG must have had a busted cat or something.
