Unhappy cooling trouble

O.K. I have 99 T/A T-56.I recently switched to a hypertech termo.160. also SLP fan control switch, hypertech III programer, and Replaced radiator fluid. Now the temp. sits @ 220 all the time even with the fans on, any ideas on what could have gone wrong ???

The 99 and up gauges aren't accurate, mine reads just under 210 once warm unless it starts to overheat - even with the fans programmed much lower. If it's 220+ make sure you got all the air out of the system.

Pay no attention to the guage, like posted, it's a dummy.

To get all the air out, you need to stand beside the car with it running for about a year and a half trickling water into the radiator. It took me about 30 minutes to fill it up when I put a 160 stat in the other day. It will take more and more and more. If you shut the car off and squeeze the radiator hose on the passenger side a few times, you'll notice the radiator fluid level going down. You might also need to put the cap on, run it, kill it, and remove cap a few times.

If it's full now, you don't have anything to worry about.
