I just cleaned mine this past week. It had been so long since I had done it last I forgot how I did it last time

I oiled in the pleats lightly then I did the top more. let it sit for a while then threw it in. Its been just fine. I don't like the spray can oil myself I miss my old bottle that you squeeze, I'll have to see if I can find another
