Default 2000 WS6 Thermostat?

Can anyone tell me what the normal operating temp for a 2000 model WS6 would be?

Car was originally sold in Michigan.

It does have a block heater.

The temp runs at 200 degrees.

Do cars sold in the midwest have hotter thermostats than say western US?

My friend has a 1998 WS6 sold in Ca which runs at 180.

Any help would be great appreciated.

The thermostat that was in the car at delivery was a 180 degree thermostat.

The 99+ temp guages always stick on like 200-210, they are "dummy" guages. It will tell you when the car is at operating temp, and when it's overheating, but nothing else. The 98 guagues work fine though.

The cars had the same thermostats and stuff, no matter where they were bought/sold at. They are designed to run around 200-210 anyway. Some people put 160 thermostats in, get on here, then ask why their temp guage is still on 210.

You need a working guage, and you need to reprogram the fans to make them run cooler.
