another simple PCV question...

when deleting the PCV system, you don't touch the "blueish green" hose, correct? this is the one that comes out of the tb side of the intake manifold....
The only thing that some people leave behind is the red hose, which is the "fresh air tube". It works off the principle that the PCV system is always at a lower pressure than the fresh air tube, which is on the atmospheric side of the throttle-body blade. This differential causes air to be sucked into the fresh air tube, which purges the motor and sucks back into the manifold behind the throttle body to be burned.
After you put a breather on, this pressure differential disappears and the fresh air tube becomes useless, so you might as well yank it too.
