Question Passanger Header Install Question

I have half of my header install done and decided to call it a night, before packing up i tried a quick fit up of the passanger header from below and it seemed stuck.

Is it possible to drop the LT in from the top if I remove the passanger side valve cover?
I thought in one of my searches I read this, but not sure

Anyone?

Thanks

You can get it it from the bottom with enough wiggling. I don't see it going in the top at all.

Did you take the plugs out?

I never pulled out my spark plugs but if your doing this off jack stands which i assume you are you need to lift the car up really damn high to get the header in. I mean really damn high. You have to put it up in there at a sharp angle. If your still having problems give me a call. I've PM'd you the number

Taking the plugs out is a good idea. If you crack one, the car will run like death.

How do you notice if the car run like "death"? I didn't took my plugs out when I installed 2 days ago, and I don't think it run good enough.

Would it run on 7 cyls if one plug even is half-broken?

You will get popping at backfiring from the unburnt fuel lighting off in the collector. The cracked insulation on the plug will allow the spark to ground out on the head before it gets to the combustion chamber.

Some people crack them just putting new plugs in, by hitting them with the socket and what not.

Backfireing all the time? I get in just some times when WOT, guess it's just running rich.

The car runs well, but it's just ticking and rasping on cold start to go off when hot.

Some people report backfiring at WOT and then trace it to plugs, not saying it's your problem, but it might be. Do a search and you might find some more info.
