problem with Pacesetter LTs

Did you go through the vendor or pacesetter themselves? I have my warranty paper in my toolchest so should anything happen I think I'll be alright. Glad to hear you got it worked out.

To me this is now another reason to not buy long tube headers.

The vendor instructed me to go through Pacesetter directly. I just sent them a copy of my receipt and I was good to go.

In retrospect I agree with you. I have my car lowered with the factory bilstein suspension for the SS. I quickly managed to bash the driver side cat (which is obviously now under the car) so it is now non-functioning. I managed to pass inspection this year anyway but every year I'll risk having someone make an issue of this despite passing the sniffer test.
The shop that did the repair swap for me pushes the Mac mid-lengths because of the clearance issues with LTs. I don't really care if an LT gets you a handful more HP than the mid-lengths, I think I would go with the Macs if I were to do it again.
