header install what do i need?
header install what do i need? I just bought some headers and ory off a member here i was just wondering how many sets of 02 extensions I need and how long? They were the slp longtubes and slp y-pipe. I have all the gaskets ect... THanks in advance.

as far as gaskets goes what does everyone use? i am buying KOOKS LTs. i am going to buy OEM header gaskets. i do not want to mess with that paper ****.. Also going to get Stage 8 locking header bolts

Get Stage 8 locking header bolts. that is a good investment so that the headers will not come loose.
The stage 8 header bolts are a waste. It's a royal PITA to put the locks in, and it's a HELLUVA lot easier to reach in an re-tighten if they should ever come loose, which they probably won't.
I put a set in on an install I did, but we decided not to use the locks because they are a bitch. The guy hasn't had any problems in over a year. I've removed and re-used my stock bolts about 10 times, no problems. You should also use anti-sieze on them.
I used the Percy's seal-for-good gaskets, and they work BAD ***. Better than the OEM's, but the OEM's are fine, even re-using the stockers.

EDIT: Spray all the exh bolts w/ soem brake-free or WD40 first. It'll save headaches. I had no problem gettign anything off. well, the car only had about 25 on it at the time. 31K now.
