LS6 install Question.
You also need the rear coolant plugs and front coolant pipe from GM, or you can make one out of your old one for free, I'll post pics when I get home.
Check out LS1howto.com for more info.
I installed one this weekend for a guy, took about 3-4 hours taking breaks because of the blistering heat. This car also had a TNT F1 kit that was a pain the *** to work around.
My best suggestion is to take the coil pack plug off (main plug), along with the injector plugs, and get the wiring harness back out of the way. Then you can remove the fuel rail seperately, or the intake with it still attached, whichever you think's easier.
I found removing the rail first was easier, but I'm wierd.
I bought the plugs AND the pipe from TSP. I said, "give me everything I'll need" but had no knowledge of the EGR delete I was facing. Thanks for the extra tips and my brother's a volvo tech so maybe I can borrow one of those tools from him.. Thanks dude.

yes.. BUT.. if you're new and have never done it.. and dont know whats back there by NOT reading a manual (chiltons, haynes, GM).. you wont see it..
there is also a small vacuum line on the back, kind of towards the left side, that needs to be removed, as well as uncliping the Oil pressure switch sensor, and the sensor on the back of the intake.
