See if you would take your head out of your A@@ and read the entry it was said to all the people that want to make a F-Body sound like a Mustang they can hang it up, then IMO I think they do sound like crap sorry about your feelings..

you guys already know what i'm gonna say: get cats. they'll kill the rasp, fumes and most of the interior resonance.

i think it's funny you actually took the time to find a picture of a choco taco. i have a confession to make: i've never even had one. i'm a fraud

A well designed y-merge will tone down rasp. My pacesetters/h-pipe/1 chamber flows don't rasp one bit. If you want to make it easy on yourself, put cats back on. If you wanna spend some time and make it sound good, either find a good ory with a quality merge or *my personal favorite* toss the ory/catback and throw duals on there!!!
this is true, also. a good merge will kill rasp - if you're talking about that "blat blat" rasp. if you're talking about the tinny rasp around 2300 rpms, it won't. that's due to the natural frequency of an aluminum block. cats are the best solution for this. cats help kill both the "blat blat" and the tinny sound.

true duals can also rasp. sweet thunders rasp like mad. they sound like a bowl of rice crispies after you put in the milk on hard neutral revs, at least in the sound clips i've heard. the best way to kill rasp on an LS1 is a good muffler, cats and a good merge if you have a y-pipe. even then, on these alumium motors you're still not guaranteed.

I agree with you, it dosent pay to argue online. You just have to be smart and filter out all the BS you read.

heres another use of Google image search and the terms "argue" and "internet"
