Question Help Me !!!.. LT install

well i started taking off the stock manifolds.. then when i went in to disconnect the steering column the damn thing did not want to disconnect.. i've installed alot of LTs and never ran into this problem.. is their a certain way to make the steering column move it or is it just supposed to move up like it has on my previous installs.. any help is appreciated.. thanx

There should be one bolt holding together. Take that out and use a bfh to knock it loose.

You need to remove the top and bottom bolts, then slide the top toward the brake booster by hitting the bottom with a hammer and extension of some sort. This will slide it of the steering rack, and you can slide the top down and off if you need to remove it completely. Spray some WD-40 on it before you re-install and use blue loctite on the bolts.

It helps if you have a friend wiggle the wheel back and forth while you tap on it.
