02 Sensor Question
02 Sensor Question I put in the driver side QTP LTs on Saturday. I plan on doing the passenger side Tuesday.
I spliced in extensions on the 2 driver side O2 sensors (front and rear) so I can use them when I finish the install. Is this going to be OK? The front and rear sensors have the same part # so one side shouldn't care if it's new front O2 sensor used to be the other sides rear sensor should it?

I wouldn't of spliced any of the wires. You can go to the Bosche 13111 o2 sensors and they will be long enough for no extensions or anything. Alot of people have better luck using these as well with longtubes, due to the highter heater wattage and the o2's being father downstream. It's a rough guess, but 8 out of 10 people have had success with the 13111's. Do a search for those numbers and there is lots of info.
Ya man you should have never cut the wires but if your car is anywhre near 100,000 miles well you just need to get new o2's which is what i have to do bc i tried the exact same thing you did i tried to splice them but my car ran like 
so what you need to do is go to advance auto parts and get some brand new o2's and get some extensions thats a %100 way to know they will work bc if the o2s are messed up it can burn up your motor so be careful but thats what im doing. FORD=
