Broken header bolt in head

Broken header bolt in head A friend and I were puting my LT headers on today when he snapped off a header bolt. It broke off even with the head. We tried everything we could think of for about 3 hours. I don't want to have to pull the head off. It doesn't stick out of the head so we can't weld a nut to it. We tried drilling into it, but we ended up breaking 2 bits. Anyone have any ideas on how to get it out? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.
If you can get a drill to it, get a better bit and try again. Cobalt alloy bits will do the trick. Drill it and use an easy out. I assume you've tried just reversing the drill motor and putting force on it to see if it will back out on its own. Sometimes that works if it broke without seizing the threads.

Thanks for the help CW00BlackTA. It was greatly appreciated. We tried that, and it didn't budge. The easy out was about to break. We ended up drilling it out and putting a HeliCoil in it.
