random tech cats how good are they?
random tech cats how good are they? so im goin to be rebuilding my exhaust system soon and i was lookin into the random tech cats 2 3" cats.......are they worth the money? is it worth spendin the money on them or will say some 3" carsound "magnaflow" cats work just as well? about 55$ a piece to around 200$ 
I noticed no drop in power when I put my 3" magnaflow cats into my duals. This is with a large cam making around 400rwhp.

Love em. They take away the rasp and look sleek under the car. Chose them because they flow almost as well as an open pipe, and are constructed of stainless steel.
You do have to pay though. Not cheap. If they are used ask for a pic of the outside. Large dents and scratches could indicate internal catalyst material damage.

thay have never been ionstalled ive been ics and they look to be in great shape....still have all the stockers on them.....just not sure if its worth tryin to sell my 3" magnaflow cats for say 100$ for both then spending the extra 150$ for the random cats.... 
You probably wont get $100 for used Mag. Cats. The Random Techs are great cats though. If you have the bullet type Mag Cats don't worry about changing. The larger diameter ones, such as those on the QTP Ys, have have many blowouts.
the carsound cats i have now that i would sell are still in the box never installed. there the bigger ones they dont look like the random cats....what brand cats are havin problems blowing out?
