Free Ram Air Mod So I've got my Pacesetters on 
(video clip in sig) and I'm looking to do the free ram air mod. I want to do either a FTRA or SSRA with an SLP lid later when i get some money and I was wondering if doing the free ram air mod will harm anything that I will need for my later induction setup. Prolly a dumb question but im just wantin to make sure.

There are some that say it will introduce a lot of hot air into the intake thus negating any performance you might gain. I don't know....it might, but I have had it for 2 years with no problems whatsoever. Would I run faster without it, I doubt it. With that said, it isn't really going to do much for you, but it won't hurt anything. If you want it, do it. If you feel you can wait for a FTRA or SSRA, then wait.

Ah I see... But the free mod wont mess up any of the induction system that I will need for say an SSRA or FTRA...like I wont run into any problems during installation of one of these because of the free mod?
