Default Next mod ?

Hi all
I'm thinking on getting the 80mm BBK throttlebody for my 00' z28. My current modifications are: SLP lid, SLP CAI, SLP bellows, and a loud mouth exhaust. What do you think about this mod ? I'm thinking about getting a MAF soon after and stopping with the performance.. for now.

Do you think the 80mm is too big ? thanks in advance

save your money by gettting your stock TB ported by NEW ERA...they're a sponsor. You ship your TB out to them, they work their magic the day they receive it and then promptly send it back to you...all for 75 bucks

the 80mm BBK just isn't worth it

i also wouldn't get an 85mm MAF if you are planning on doing any other modifications to the car at a future date...it will make tuning a bitch - unless you are putting out over 500hp, your MAF is not a restriction

Port your stock TB or buy a ported one from one of the sponsors.

Porting instructions are located here:

i wouldnt worry about porting the TB untill you get an LS6 intake becasue the gain wont be noticed from the TB. but if your planning on a ls6 later then go ahead and get it done for the $75.

Yeah man..... Plenty of info on here on the differences. The LS6 intake that came on 01-02 F-body's will be a good gain and cost you around $300 from someone used.
