car detonating. need help.
car detonating. need help. my girls 2000 SS. Its bone stock besides a lid and cut out.
car is stumbling. Had a friend w/ HP tuners look at it and the car is detonating its *** off and pulling timing out.
I thought first thing was to change the plugs.
Apparently her ex 1/2 assed everything he did on the car
drivers side had MSD wires and TR55's. Passenger side was stock wires/plugs.
So I swapped them all out with new TR55's and still the same thing.
what else could it be? tomorrow i'll clean the MAF but i dont think a dirty MAF would make it detonate like it is. its so bad it feels like its misfiring
