Default open headers .....

ive searched and found a bunch of threads on this..but this morning i took my passenger side header off ...had to take the muffler off as well...so now when i go back to putting it back on im debating if i should run open headers for a few days . i would put the piece of ory pipe that connects to the header collector so the o2's wont get that much air, but not connect it to the muffler.. just want some one to reasure me everything will be ok.
im replacing the header gasket and cutting the EGR tube if any one wonder why i took it off to begin with...i think ill change the plugs to , wont tkae but 3 minutes hahhaa

Your O2's should be fine with that much pipe backing them.

Loud is not a good enough description....I would be constantly hounded by the pigs around here if I ran mine with open headers....cranked it up earlier this morning while I had the y-pipe off, and ohhh man did it sound good!

open headers will sound obviously louder than LT's w/ an ORY and no catback... but either way don't worry abour your O2's going bad.... i creamed in my pants after hearing my open lt's with h/c

Too much vibration for me, made my legs go numb after a while of driving. The cam didnt help either.
