exhaust question?

is it worth putting a slp y-pipe on my 98 z a4 with the following mod; lid,free mods, 3 inch after factory y with a cut out and flowmaster?

You might see it on a time slip but feel it, No way. I say put that 130 in savings and save for headers!!!

Definitely not worth the $130 at this point in time. Put it towards headers like the other guy said or get yourself a better muffler

which one would line up right with me exhaust thought i want the borla muffler but i dont know which one to get?

i already have a cut out i just wanna change out my muffler but i dont know which one to go with?

How loud do you want your car to be? If your just looking at a replacement muffler for the factory one then id say go hooker aerochamber or magnaflow. I dont think they sell just the borla muffler but I could be wrong. If your looking for cheap HP then have either a hooker aerochamber or a magnaflow muffler welded into the stock location and run a cutut in the I-pipe.

borla sells the back section only but i dont know who carries it or how much for it but ive seen it plenty of times on other sites

i take it you have a 3 inch cutout....so honestly its not really gonna matter what kind of muffler you have...your dropping enough exhaust out before it even gets back there....i have a stock muffler...but i can tell a big difference when i put the plate on
