I have no experience, but I don't see the point of it on a LSx. The inlet hole on the LS6 intake limits any gain from a larger TB, so a ported stock TB would perform very similar to a 85mm TB on a LS6 itake, but at zero cost if you port it yourself.
TPIS will sell you a 90mm converted LS6 intake (exchange basis) either round or oval opening which you can use one of their 90mm TB's on. These manifolds have proven to outperform regular LS6 intakes, although a FAST 90/90 is still superior in the higher rpms due to its plenium chamber design.
