Header install, please help

First, which headers seem to be the easiest to install? And has anyone ever had to remove the evaporator and AC lines on the passenger side to install the headers on a 2002 SS?

Driver side headers seem to be easy due to space, also didn't disconnect the A/C lines they will clear. Make sure you get the car up high if you don't have a lift to use.

My Pacesetter LT's slid right into place with no problems at all. Come to think of it, they pretty much installed themselves. I have never heard of anyone that has had to remove the evaporator or AC lines to install headers.

ya i installed SLP LT and i didnt have to do anything with the AC compressor or anything to do with it???

hedmans slid in with minimal grinding to block casting. very easy install.

Pace setters didnt work for me at all. Pass. did but drivers side wouldnt bolt up

On mine the driver side was the worst. I had to take the cross member of the trans and pry the trans toward the passenger side so that i could put the header in, that was fun.
