TSP Catted-Y question

TSP Catted-Y question Alright guys, can I have a TSP catted-Y fabbed to my stock manifolds on a 98 TA??? I cant remember the exact location of the cats and setup on the 98-99's....been a while since I've seen my car on a lift.
I just want carsound cats and an aftermarket Y for a GMMG, I think it makes the GMMG sound a lot better! No one does Mandrel bends around here, so I have to go with a catted-Y, ready to install.

no the TSP catted Y pipe will ONLY fit longtube headers, and really going to aftermarket cats and Y pipe will yeild little to no gains if you still have factory manifolds, the 2 main restrictions in the factory exhaust are the factory mainifolds and the muffler, so your alot better off just saving for LT's, but if you wanted an aftermarket Y pipe I think Thunderracing sells them forget what brand they are ill try and find a link

hey thanks! This whole Y-pipe to stock manifolds is pretty confusing, only reason I want to do it is on LS1sounds.com........theres a '00 Firehawk with an SLP Y and cats, I think it sounds so much better than stock setup GMMG's.

That is true about the recordings, I would do headers........but unfortunately I have to deal with CA smog.
I think even by putting that Random Tech catted-Y on, they could fail me.
I really cant decide, but I want my GMMG louder than stock, somehow
