It might hammer the floorboard a bit. I would like to see that though. It would probably be wicked-loud!

It would require a lot of the BFH mod to fit.

A guy out here at work has a LT1 camaro with a small cam LT ORY and a 1 chamber in the I pipe about where a cutout is usually placed the pipe(3in) then runs over the axle and dumps near the back of the car. the 1 chamber is the only muffler it has and I really like the way it sounds Kinda has that nice 5.0 stang tone when just driving easy. But definately has a much meaner tone when you stand on it.

It'd be alot easier if they made them with an offset inlet/outet configuration.

why don't you cut off the cats and put a 1 chamber where each of the cats are? would that be feasible?

Why will you need the BFH mod, a 1 chamber is small as hell. They fit right in. And you dont want to puy them in the place of the cats, that means you will need two, thus making it quiet. Cut the cats and put one in the I pipe for the best sound

lol it won't make it quiet. it will flow better than a cat and be louder. that means that it will be louder than a dumped stock y-pipe. that's pretty damn loud! plus it'll be a lot less restrictive. it's the smarter idea.

I did this and it does take a lot of the BFH mod to tuck it. I had it under the rear seat well in the i-pipe and I will tell you that sob was loud and the drone was HORRIBLE. It will definetly fit though if that is what you really want, but to me there is too much drone to be tollerable. good luck to you if you do it.

I haven't seen one like that. The resonator on the V6 Flowmaster catback is like what I'm talking about. It fits in the space under the rear pass. seat.
