Mufflers right off the headers, has anyone ever run this... i saw this picture on LS1sounds.com////

and i was curious about this setup.. obviously you would be lacking the scavenging effect of an xpipe but would this setup work.. even if only for a temporary time.. would there be any problems with this setup?

I ask because i need to get my xpipe fabbed to fit.. but i have my mufflers and clamps sitting here as well as my headers and extensions etc... so i was thinking hell why not throw em on like that and get the x fabbed up right then throw it all together later..

Many people do it. It's usually hardcore drag racers trying to save weight. And of course it's really loud.
