Good plan... as you can tell, don't rely on a damned thing that cop car guy tells ya. He drops his .02 cents in all the time, and 99% of it's dead wrong. Good luck!

i know more about the LS1 than you will ever know in your lifetime.

im sorry that a throttle body made a ONE tenth and ONE mph diffrence on what appears to be a full bolt on/cammed either stalled or M6 car. you get better gains by removing your bumper supports, and its free. i honestly did not know that the TB gave any gains at all. thats my mistake. everyone acts like its the end of the world though i will still never put a ported throttle body on my car, ever . i will also never **** away my money on a aftermarket MAF or descreen my MAF on a car that uses it.

Not a problem. Back in '99 I didnt think a buddys new stock Firehawk would run with my '81 Camaro street car(warmed over 350 and the other usuals) from a 20 roll, I was wrong . Then he goes to the track with me and runs a 13.06 against my 12.8- all in the 60ft, his 2.0x against my 1.8x. My eyes were opened to the LS1

Just out of curiosity... Ya know if the spring on it is replaceable? Started the bump stop mod awhile back and nicked it pretty good. Not broken...but would suck if the pedal got stuck on a WOT run... Keep me info'd... I'll send it out to ya over the winter and you can get to it when you can...

The spring has to be replaceable. I mean, the dealer would deffinatly have a replacement part # for it. Not cheap though!! I caughed up $4 for just one of the 3 bolts that fasten the TB to the intake. Its not a super special part either. I could of gone to Home Depot and got'n one for $ .50. I just didn't want to make another dumb drive for that.... So I got it from the dealer... ****'n highway robbery tho!!!

P.S. Cop Car really needs to shut the **** up at times! I agree. I've seen him make soo many posts. At first I used to just be like whatever about it but now i'm fairly irritated. He THINKS he knows alot but he really knows a whole lot of nuth'n!
