I am going to put a cutout in the I pipe section of my modular lm2 exhaust system. I think I will be able to put it in the small section of piping right before the bullet muffler. i was wondering what size cutout to get for that pipe.

 

3 inch

 

Will the three inch be the same size as the I pipe or will it slip over the i pipe.
