Help Plz!! Intake question
Help Plz!! Intake question I am swapping my ls1 intake to a ls6 intake. I was noticing this little tube looking thing on the back of the block, on the top, in the center. (hooked to a connector) that was just laying there, I know it broke off the back of the block. I looked in the hanes manual and it showed it sitting there but didn't say what it was called. I was wondering if anyone knows what it is so i can get another one ordered. Thanks Jimmy
Yeah that's an oil pressure sending unit/sensor Almost guaranteed to break if you don't know it's there. I just replaced mine last week. Go to any parts store and pick up a oil sensor socket ($15 or so). It's cake to change.
