It's easy, took me 4 1/2 hours to do mine (including removing the old system). Including removing my STB so I could torque all the bolts, I also had a lift. Easy way to install the gaskets is to use two zip ties to hold it on the headers; install some bolts, then remove the zip ties.

about 7-10 is what i have seen, my mids took around 10.Was careful and made sure everything was good to go.

Make sure to have 10mm rachet wrench its a must with this car
take both coil packs off, its so much easier
take out sparkplugs, you dont wanna break them off
O2 extensions
band clamps if you cant get to a welder

I say set aside a whole day to do it. You never know what you're going to run into. Make sure you have lots of sockets with extensions, etc. You need a jack that is going to be able to get the car off the ground high enough. I used a heavy duty race jack. You'll also need some jackstands, possibly a torch, ratchet wrenches!, and patience. Having a friend help out makes things easier.

I am 6'1" and had the top of the fender to about my shoulder. The higher the better when it comes time to put in the new headers. I would also set aside an entire day, or possibly two. Some time you run into something that you could not plan for. Like the headers hitting the K-Member or your damn GMMG not coming off!
But seriously give your self plenty of time. You don't wanna have to rush it. And if you can't seem to get that last bolt go inside, relax eat a sandwich, have a beer and go at it again.

Good luck
