160 thermostat.

I just put a 160 thermostat in my car... I know this makes my car think the cats are bad and all...but when i floor it from start and get to 70 mph my check engine flashes and tells me i have random multiple misfire.could the thermostat cause this or did i bust something?

Stat won't cause that. You're showing the PO300? Replace your plugs/wires and make sure they're gaped correct. I just fixed the same problem in mine

Before you replace any of your plugs & wires, just double check them to make sure you didn't knock any of them loose and that they all still have a good connection.

Dang... im pretty sure the misfire was cuz of bad gas... i just filled up on half a tank at my usual gas station... put in stp fuel treatment and some outlaw octane boost... and i feel like i just got my 50 horses... she got her pep back! Yeah. NO ONe got to the RACEWAY in HOUSTON TX (EDGEBROOK) basterds.
