cut out location stock y pipe

anyone know the cutout size for a stock y pipe?......2 1/2 or 3 inch....or should i run it past the y pipe in the pipe that goes from the y pipe?

right after the y pipe in the I, most people put it right under the hump b/c there is more clearance and it provide good power gains without killing tons of low-end. 3inch cutout is the size

thanks..anyone have picts?....is this just a 2 wire hot-ground wire set up? is qtp the best place to buy from?

The new QTP controller can do more than 1 cutout, and it shows the % open I believe.

BYUNSpeed sells one made by McCord as well.
