New Exhaust...Again?!

it'll sound even better.Another thing I have been considering is this: Put one of the "mufflers" I already have at the end of each collector with a cutout right after each muffler. And then right after that, it merges to a Y and then goes into my factory cat-back. Would that sound all right with the cut-out open? ("Open" headers with a Dynomax Bullet at the end of each one is all that it would run through)
same issure I'm having.. I'm running a qtp catted y with the 4 inch merge colllector and a LM... I'm seriously thinking about getting a 4 inch cutout, and then putting the stock catback back on the car... not that the 402 will ever actually be quiet. Only thing I'm concerned about is if the stock catback will actually choke the motor so bad that it starts causing problems.
I wish someone would come out with a true dual 3 inch setup, that has the small magnaflow mini cats in it, and a se of quiet mufflers that went all the way out the back. I took the phb support off and don't plan on putting it back on anytime soon.. so the clearance isn't the issue, as long as the piep doesn't run over the side where the fuel pump stuff is, or at least not too close to it.
I so need to find an exhaust shop in CT that will build something that knows what they are doing....
