QTP LT question

What is HVMC...I know its High Velocity Merge Collector, but what's the difference?

It has to do with the spike that there is in the merge collector, I think they call it a velocity spike. It is supposed to increase the velocity of the exhaust gas and thus increase scavenging.

It actually deals with the way the primary tubes merge into the collector. My Kooks 1-7/8th headers have a huge velocity spike, but they are not HVMC's. ALL the new QTP's feature them however.
