straight pipe it

remove muffler and just put a piece of pipe in there

SLP LM is pretty loud even with CATs. Maybe that'd work for you. Failing that, some other less restrictive muffler or striaght pipe.

also if yo uhave it venting/dumping under the car it will appear louder in the car than it really is.

Well, you are CA. That puts a damper on your power through exhaust. I say keep the current and throw that cut-out up in the mix.

went with a cut out, placed it right before the muffler

sounds great
