knocking in exhaust
knocking in exhaust Well i noticed that if the car is at idle that you can hear a little knock coming from the exhaust but seems to run fine and drive fine . I have stock headers and no cats with slp loudmouth . I know a bent rod will make thuping sounds but the car seems to run fine and it has been doing this for months . could it jsut be low backpressure or something ?
I just went out there and listened to it again and it isnt very repeatitive . If it was something internal wouldnt it be repeatitive ? I can only hear it when the car is at full temp. Is this normal ?

i have the same problem! i took it to my friends dealership and they said it could have been a baffle in the cat or muffler letting go... i dont really care what it is i know its in the exhaust so its an excuse to go LT/TD!

well i have cut them out a long time ago . It is basically stock headers slp y pipe , no cats , and a slp loudmouth . I dont think it is anything serious since it has been doing this and i have sprayed the hell out of it while it is doing this and it has not changed anything
