not bad to install. Just get rid of all that emissions ****(EGR, AIR) before you do it too, helps to get **** out of the way.

Not hard at all. Should take you 4-6 hours. You do not have to jack it up that high. I have done several in my garage for friends on jackstands.

easy job. I get them done in about 2.5-3 hours time. pretty easy. dont pay people to work on your car. nobody will treat your car the way that you will.

I was sure that open headers at 230am would've had the police called on me... guess I was wrong

That's what I've been thinking, but what is an average charge for a shop? I've been getting quotes of $300.00

A lot of my classmates helped me install the LTs. I think I didnt get the Y pipe in just right and now the LM catback wont fit correctly. So I gotta disassemble the Y pipe and start over. Also we had to hammer the sidewall to clear the headers on the drivers side. Lastly my dipstick tube was removed and is now a pain to reinstall.

lol, depends on the header also and the quality of the header you get. I got the batch of terrible QTP's... i had to do SOOO much crap to get it on... took 3 full days pretty much. Passenger side went in pretty easily... drivers side took FOREVER. Although i wasnt in charge of the whole project. I think it would have been alot easier if we jacked my car higher, but my friends insisted that we didnt. We had to grind, cut, jack the engine, mess with the steering shaft, hone out the header flanges cause they didnt line up right... and mess around with the air and egr... in summary i would have a shop do it if i had the choice to do it over again... Also QTP's y-pipe is not worth purchasing... get that custom.

I found that the dipstick tube was the hardest part of the install. I took it off so quick when I started I really couldn't tell how it went back in place. The headers went in easier.
