changing air lids...

ok i know this is supposed to be very easy to do i have a SLP lid (white) on my SS right now and i got another Whisper LS1 lid (red) cause it would match better to my car theme.

am i missing something cause i can NOT get the Whisper to fit on the dern thing and i tried what i thought was everything i could?

what am i doing wrong? has anyone else ever had that problem?

Remove the Lid and the bellow to the maf and the bellow from the maf to the throttle body. Assemble that first off the car and then try to fit it all on the car as one unit.

Are you having a problem getting the MAF to fit into the Whisper lid or a problem getting the lid to latch on to the airbox? Take a picture of the engine bay right now with the Whisper lid on and that might be able to help us determine a possible problem.
