Okay, I kinda knew it wasnt an 03 vette motor like what was said. But the seller overall was a good guy!! anyways ya its got a nice size crack where you cant see it on the other side of the lid!! So I will buy another one soon. Thanx tho everyone for their advice and input. Im thinking its a 99 ls1 but about the same with an 00 probobly. Now I just need to find another rear end!! Not having posi is going to kill my TIRE (driver side rear) unevenly at the track tonight but I gotta see what it runs with those slug 2:73 Ill let yall know!!! Im hoping and this is a big hope I hit around 12.5.

i'm pretty sure you want the 98-00 one. the only difference is the vacuum line that went into the side.
