Default QTP LT Header issue, problem?

I just recieved my QTP LT headers yesterday, and today I bolted them up to the engine(on a stand still) just to see how they fit/look...

And then i noticed something... the primaries on the passenger side header are not fully welded, but the drivers side is... I assume I should get in touch with QTP and get that one header replaced...
Anyone else ever have this issue?
If its a mistake and QTP will exchange it, its not a big deal, I only live like 15 min from their warehouse, so I can stop by there on monday...

yeah i just read that thread, interesting, but why would each side be different? My friend works at QTP, so i'll contact him tomorrow. If i can get a passenger side thats fully welded, i will, i just think it looks much nicer, lol.

yeah i'm calling him tomorrow. And about seeing them, i just went through the trouble of completely repainting the entire engine compartment to match the body, lol and im a perfectionist when it comes to that car, so it will so bother me, just knowing the 2 sides dont match :-D

I've seen headers welded both ways. Weird you got one of each.

My kooks were partially welded on the outside like that. Just make sure the inside is welded. I'm pretty sure, as stated above, the outside welds are just to hold the pipes in place during welding.

Unless they screwed up the weld on the inside, it shouldn't have welds all the way around the primaries. My Stainless Works don't have those welds around the primaries and the flanges.

well besides that, also the one y-pipe side does NOT fit the one header. its just not going and seems the pipe needs to be expanded more... i'll be calling QTP tomorrow or just showing up at their door tomorrow...

The headers where just made by two different people. Both are completed welded. Just one has more on the outside. Its welded on the inside. My guys should have matched sets up when they boxed them. If you want a matching set just ship them back. its no biggie. Let us know what you want to do.

I stopped by the shop Monday, and spoke to them, everythign was cleared up for the most part... The main point of this thread was just to see if i should be concerned or not about the welds. since they are not an issue, all is well... as for the y-pipe issue.. whatever
