due to clearance issues go with set of coated paceters there cheep and get the job done there proven quality and preformace

Which one to choose? Im trying to choose which headers im going with for my 02 SS. Should i go with SLP long tubes or Hooker long tubes?? let me know what you guys think if you have any other sugestions let me know...
I would stay away from SLP. Word around here is they hang really low, I have no personal experience though. If your looking to spend some money go with stainless (Kooks or QTP). To save a few bucks go with Pacesetter's.

OR save a whole lot of moeny and get the e-bay ehaders. theyre stainless steel and 300+ shipping. word is they fit great, great quality. the only downside is no Y pipe has been released yet, but hotwhip02ta used a jet hot y pipe and it worked eprfect. hes got a whole psot dedicated to how good they are

I have QTP headers and I love them...
However, if you do get long tubes find someone who can fab up a nice Y pipe or true duals so that they don't hang inches above the ground like my factory QTP Y pipe does. It is worth the money to do it right the first time. Either that or get a map or every large speed bump in your town and avoid those areas.
Perhaps someone else can point you in the direction of a different aftermarket Y that actually has ground clearance.
