Which one to choose?

Im trying to choose which headers im going with for my 02 SS. Should i go with SLP long tubes or Hooker long tubes?? let me know what you guys think if you have any other sugestions let me know...

I would stay away from SLP. Word around here is they hang really low, I have no personal experience though. If your looking to spend some money go with stainless (Kooks or QTP). To save a few bucks go with Pacesetter's.

BTW, try searching, there are several threads about the same subject.

slp = overpriced and bad clearance
if you are going to spend the money get kooks or qtp stainless headers
if not then get pacesetters.

OR save a whole lot of moeny and get the e-bay ehaders. theyre stainless steel and 300+ shipping. word is they fit great, great quality. the only downside is no Y pipe has been released yet, but hotwhip02ta used a jet hot y pipe and it worked eprfect. hes got a whole psot dedicated to how good they are

I have QTP headers and I love them...

However, if you do get long tubes find someone who can fab up a nice Y pipe or true duals so that they don't hang inches above the ground like my factory QTP Y pipe does. It is worth the money to do it right the first time. Either that or get a map or every large speed bump in your town and avoid those areas.

Perhaps someone else can point you in the direction of a different aftermarket Y that actually has ground clearance.
